Meet Our Coaches

Coach Brown

Coach Brown’s first time in the boxing ring was when he prepared for the World’s Kickboxing Tournament. After meeting his lifelong mentor Coach Rich, he was able to understand the intricacies of the boxing sport and dedicated himself to learning all he could. Coach Rich dissected his technique brutally, but by listening to his criticism and enduring the intense training, he was able to reach heights he did not even conceive as possible. That mentorship brought Coach Brown’s courage and belief in himself to the forefront, and he would not be as strong of an athlete or a person without that guidance. Coach Brown believes strongly in the idea that nothing is bigger than the art of the boxing, not when the history of the sport has been passed down from generation to generation.

Coach Brown is a teacher who has a keen eye for the details because of his passion and dedication to the art of the boxing. He knows that there is potential in every single person, because every single person has the right to learn this art. Boxing is his vehicle for influencing the lives of those around him, and after becoming a coach of the sport, he has seen how it has made people reconsider the ways they are living their lives for the better. People have changed how they love their families, open up to those they care about, and react to stressful situations because of the commitment they put into bettering their lives here. When you’re being taught by Coach Brown, you’re not just building muscle. You’re building character.

Coach Abraham

When Coach Abraham first stepped into the boxing ring, something changed in him. From that day on, he knew he had found his lifelong passion. The sport was so engaging and exhilarating that he could not imagine doing anything else. But beyond his sheer love for boxing, what stands out in his career as an athlete are the friendships he has built with mentors and fellow devotees to the sport. Particularly pivotal in his journey to Art of Boxing was his own coach, who understood exactly what Coach Abraham needed from training. While Coach Abraham prides himself in his signature boxing style, the bones of his teaching come from what he relished as a former student of boxing.

At Art of Boxing, Coach Abraham focuses on the simplicity of boxing and drills in the fundamentals. In his words, “boxing is simple, but not easy”. Proficiency in the sport requires effort and hard work, and Coach Abraham is ready to push you every step of the way. He will provide you with the tools you need as boxers to adapt to any given circumstance, preparing you physically and mentally for whatever may come your way.
